Honey and honey-based delicacies to enjoy in our bakery or to take away. A guided tour accompanied by an apiarist will allow you to discover the world of bees.
As professional beekeepers for 40 years, we welcome visitors to our site both to purchase our products and to tour our facilities and hives. The worker bees in this small, family-friendly, and welcoming community gather mountain honey from within a 25-kilometer radius, some of which is used to make specialty items such as chocolate, nougat, honey bread, spreads, sorbets, and pastries. The apple juice served as a refreshment comes from the orchard, whose flowers benefit from visits by pollinating bees. A guided tour led by the beekeeper—featuring glass-fronted hives, a slideshow, a museum of antique hives, the honey house, and the opening of a live hive—lets you learn “everything” about bees, honey, and beekeeping! A shelter, as well as a playground and picnic area, are available for visitors.
Tours in July and August at 4:00 p.m. and on weekends by appointment. Outside of July and August: tours are also available by appointment at any time.
By appointment, we offer a workshop on beeswax: shaping wax “From Mummy to Candle.”
