The 19th-century Château de MontSablé, just off the A89 freeway (exit 28) in the Tuscany of Auvergne, enjoys incomparable peace and quiet, with panoramic views as far as the eye can see, and no immediate neighbors.
Built around 1840, Château de MontSablé stands at the end of a long driveway lined with maple trees. This is just a glimpse of the lush vegetation of the Château de MontSablé's 14-hectare park, with its two-hundred-year-old trees.
Château de MontSablé was acquired for a renovation that respects the memory of the place. The owners, moved by the atmosphere, proceeded with the restoration, preserving the original woodwork, Volvic stone floors, herringbone parquet and elegant fireplaces. The most important thing was to preserve its authenticity and family spirit, giving it an air of eternal vacation, in the midst of a nest of greenery where a man-made river with a small period bridge murmurs.
The owner will be delighted to tell you all about the history of Château de MontSablé.
