For a lazy break! Helen and Henk have transformed a former convent into a beautiful house decorated in the Nordic style and rural architecture. 5 rooms including 1 family suite. Garden. Nordic bath. Host table in the evening.

At the foot of the Livradois mountains, overlooking the Dore gorges, nestles La Paresse en Douce in a quiet side street on the outskirts of the village of Tours sur Meymont. La Paresse en Douce simply means living lazily. A charming country guesthouse where you can naturally slow down. A beautiful house decorated in contemporary Nordic style, with whitewashed walls and whitewashed floors. You can stay in one of our 5 spacious bedrooms. High-comfort bedding and modern bathrooms. Two of the rooms are XL double rooms: more space, a bigger bathroom and an infrared sauna! Families with children aged 12 and over are welcome. We have a library, lounge with fireplace, wifi connection. The walled garden has a small swimming pool and a Nordic bath. We also offer a table d'hôte where Henk cooks a variety of colorful and fragrant recipes from around the world, using local produce. Meals can be taken around a large table or in the garden. Leisure activities: hiking, Aubusson d'Auvergne lake, Cunlhat adventure park, tourist train, Thiers cutlery museum, Richard de Bas mill, castles, Ambert, Vulcania, Billom.
