In the foothills of Forez, between Ambert and the Col des Pradeaux (6 km), our youth hostel offers a collective stay. Conviviality, authenticity, respect for others and nature are the values you'll find at our cosmopolitan hostel. On request, the hostel can be transformed into a large-scale gite for family reunions or gatherings of friends, sports or cultural associations, or works councils from the 4 corners of France. The inn is then privatized. You can be self-catering and prepare your own meals in our fully-equipped kitchen, or opt for full board. The choice is yours! For small groups, you can also opt for the "Youth Hostel" formula. 12 rooms with 2 to 4 single beds and washbasins are available. For your comfort, the hostel features a large dining room with exposed stone walls and a fireplace. An activity/relaxation room (TV, library, children's games) and a table-tennis room are also available. To help you organize your stay, the inn has a nature area with IGN maps, topo-guides, hiking trails, a model of the Forez mountains, as well as numerous books and documentation on the region. A wifi connection is also available. Outside, there's a picnic area and barbecue, as well as a playground with a volleyball court for all ages. A wide range of hiking, mountain biking, horse-riding, motorbiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails leave from the inn. Nearby: Musée école 1900 (50 m), Moulin Richard de Bas (2.5 km). The Vallée de l'Ance, Hautes-Chaumes, Montpeloux volcano, Prabouré, Olliergues, Thiers, Billom, La Chaise-Dieu are just some of the nearby towns and villages to (re)discover.
