Come and enjoy our gîte on the farm. We grow vegetables all year round, at an altitude of 650 m, using organic methods and animal traction. We and our donkeys will be delighted to meet you.
Our gîte is equipped for one to four people (or even five). With its wisteria and red shutters, the facade facing the house is full of charm. This small 18th-century artisan forge has been carefully renovated using natural materials (hemp concrete, wood, bio-sourced paints, etc.).
Inside, you'll find a friendly nest with windows overlooking the neighboring field: no need for a TV, the ewes provide a contemplative spectacle that will calm even the most stressed of city dwellers.
We come to this gîte to slow down, recharge our batteries, work in the green, meet and share our way of life, and to get out and about. There's no shortage of paths in the area, as the GR89 "Chemin de Montaigne" (which crosses the Rhône, Loire and Puy-de-Dôme) passes just a few hundred meters from the farm, and intersects with the GR3 "Sentier de la Loire" (which leads from Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc to La Baule) a few kilometers further on.
The gîte is 35 m2 on one level, with a second floor of equivalent size under the roof.
The first floor is organized around a single large space, serving as kitchen, dining room and living room. There is also a separate toilet.
The 1st floor features a master bedroom, an alcove and a bathroom (shower with WC).
In front of the gîte, guests can enjoy birdsong and farm life on the stone terrace.
We are part of the Accueil Paysan network, which aims to promote tourism that embodies the values of ecology and rural living.
