At the Moulin de la Fortie, people come to enjoy the simple pleasures of the countryside. The building, which was a flour mill in the 18th century and a cutler's workshop during the 19th century, was converted more than once before finally being transformed into comfortable B&B rooms and gîtes. Tastefully renovated, it combines the charm of a countryside home with modern facilities.
Martine and Alexandra (mother and daughter) offer 4 charming guest rooms, including a 4-person family room (Sequoia,) renovated in a spirit of recuperation, country chic. There's a room where you can have breakfast, share family moments over a board game, and prepare your own meals if you wish, thanks to a small kitchen. But if you'd rather do nothing, we also offer packed lunches using seasonal and local produce. The Hévéa room is perfect for couples who want to recharge their batteries and take their time. For a trip to Auvergne with girlfriends or friends, the Tilia room (2 single beds) is ideal. For a break on the road with your child, Épicéa is the perfect choice. So don't hesitate, come and stay at Moulin de la Fortie.
To take things a step further, all the gîtes and rooms have been refurbished in an old flour mill dating back to 1753, and are located on the outskirts of a quiet, authentic hamlet where you can enjoy the simple pleasures of the countryside.
We also welcome up to 36 people (chambres d'hôtes + gîtes), and a reception room is available for our group guests.
On-site 4 gîtes and a room reserved for groups.
