Chalet des gentianes - Gite

In the gîte d'étape, close to the sanitary facilities, you'll find a dormitory with 12 90 cm bunk beds for low-cost stopovers, and two bedrooms (one quadruple and 2 boxes). In the gîte, you'll find a convivial room where you can relax and admire the Valcivières cirque through the bay window. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a lounge. At your disposal: microwave and electric kettle, a mini-fridge for picnics and drinks... as well as magazines, books, board games and tourist/hiking literature. We offer catering services: breakfast, half board, full board. Welcoming riders to Chalet des Gentianes: We are one of several establishments located on the Boucle Dore (Parc du Livradois Forez) that can welcome riders. A FRETE (Fédération Relais Equestre et Tourisme Equestre) accredited establishment since May 2012 (2 roses / 2 irons) , we put at your disposal: - a meadow for 10 horses (possibility of dividing the meadow) with attachment bars and water point; - a wooden shelter for equipment and hay; - a room to store fragile equipment and personal belongings; Meadow + hay rate per horse: €5/day We offer a "luggage transport" service, with estimates on request. Reception of bikers at Chalet des Gentianes : We offer private parking (under a sheltered shed), access to a washing machine and tumble dryer, a few mechanical tools if needed, a compressor for your tires... Clientele: Pilgrims, Hikers, Mountain bikers, Motorcyclists, Cyclists Children's toboggan run. Snowshoe and linen hire available.
