The campsite is located in a wooded park along the Eau Mère river, in the Prairies leisure area, with tennis courts, fishing ponds, playground and free-access municipal swimming pool (July and August), ideally situated 10 minutes on foot - 5 minutes by bike - from shops, restaurants and the Sauxillanges market. The Domaine de l'Eau Mère, entirely reinvented by Sophie and Vincent in 2024, offers 7 accommodations with sanitary facilities and heating (sleeps 34), 11 unusual cabins (sleeps 34), 1 group marabout (sleeps 14) and 49 pitches for tents, camping cars... Each accommodation comes with new bedding, blankets and pillows, and electricity. You'll also find the Guinguette Folle Allier bar/snack bar with local produce and small grocery services, with concerts, cinema or theater and art workshops every Thursday evening - during the summer season. Relaxation and leisure are also on the agenda, with sauna, table tennis, table soccer, wooden furniture, riverside and bicycles available. A warm welcome awaits you at the Eau Mère campsite in Sauxillanges. We also cater for hikers, cyclists, horse riders and motorcyclists. For your group needs and events, we offer a dedicated space and an adapted formula. Services for groups 1 large, dedicated site under magnificent oak trees, with the possibility of renting barnums (e.g. for kitchen shelters) and marabouts for overnight stays.
