Take part in a one-of-a-kind workshop at Fontenille Pataud and craft your own LE THIERS® knife in the workshop, guided by our artisans: guilloché engraving, assembly, shaping, polishing… A complete immersion in the art of knife-making.

Immerse yourself in the demanding and exciting world of artisanal cutlery with Fontenille Pataud’s immersive workshops in Thiers. Guided by an experienced master cutler, you’ll design and craft your very own LE THIERS® knife from start to finish: guilloché engraving, fitting, assembly, handle shaping, polishing… Each step offers an opportunity to learn precise technical techniques, discover traditional tools, and understand the attention paid to every detail. This workshop, open to participants ages 12 and up (when accompanied by an adult participant), offers you a rare and authentic experience in a vibrant workshop, where French craftsmanship is passionately passed down. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece, crafted with your own hands, and a lasting memory of an exceptional craft. Participants aged 12–17 must be accompanied by an adult trainee. Reservations must be made 2 weeks before the workshop date.
