In the heart of the Auvergne, in the Livradois-Forez region, discover dog sledding. For the past 20 years, musher Christian and his pack of Siberian huskies have been sharing their passion for harnessing and the amazing work of dogs!
Summer and winter alike... without moderation...
Our dogs are all Nordic dogs of exceptional kindness, devoid of aggression and of unfailing courage.
This complete activity, full of discovery, is made for all those who like to share moments in the heart of nature, in fantastic settings...!
To find out more... and experience the great outdoors, here are a few details :
. The winter team is made up of 10 to 12 dogs and an ash-wood sled built in our workshops. The number of places is limited to 2 or 3 adults per team. We'll take you sliding on various trails in the Col de la Loge Nordic area.
The trails we use are exclusively reserved for carriage driving. They're groomed and groomed every day, so we can make the most of the joys of sledding and dog sledding.
We offer 3 formulas from 1 to 3 km, with a small off-piste section for the last. Guaranteed to thrill young and old alike. Great memories in store! At the finish line, a little hut awaits you, where you can warm up by the fire and share a convivial moment with the musher. A hot drink is offered to all crews.
Our activity starts as soon as the first snow arrives and ends...
...as late as possible!!! Of course, to get the most out of all these good things, the weather, snow quality and temperature must be right.
Accessible to all: Adults, children, schools (approved by the French Ministry of Education), day-care centers, disabled people, groups.
Equipment: Warm clothing, goggles and good shoes required.
The freedom of the great outdoors and respect for dogs is everyone's passion!
. Summer driving is a little different from winter driving. The climate, the environment and the behavior of the dogs are all different. The scenery is always magnificent, with colors changing from autumn to spring.
The number of dogs is the same as in winter (10 to 12), and they'll help you discover this fabulous 5 km route through the Volloroise countryside.
The carriage, on the other hand, no longer slides, but is equipped with wheels. Just as enjoyable, you can discover the work and courage of the dogs. You'll be in contact with the pack, and will be given plenty of explanations about the activity as you go along. The crew is made up of 2 to 3 adults or 4 children per tour.
