Description
Every two months, a mini-exhibition unveils a rarely presented object, chosen for its ability to open up an unexpected perspective on Lezoux ceramics.
The museum's collections are alive and kicking. With the rhythm of new acquisitions, restorations and studies, they never cease to reveal unsuspected stories. To share these treasures, the museum is launching a new event: "Sorties de réserves".
Ceramics bear witness to the stories of life in antiquity: craftsmen's gestures, everyday practices, beliefs, circulation... Each selected object offers a fragment of this vanished world. Depending on the theme, you'll discover a piece from a recent excavation, an object remarkable for its workmanship or decoration, an artifact that holds an enigma, or an acquisition that has just entered the museum's collections.
Conceived as small windows opening onto the reserves, these mini-exhibitions invite you to return to the museum throughout the year: with each visit, a new story to explore.
