Description
At the "Queen's Seat", a scree slope shelters a rock that seems to have been carved out in the shape of a throne; the granite material and position reinforce the impression of sovereignty...
Geologically, the scree can be explained by the nature of the substrate (heterogeneous granite, often with large crystals called "porphyries") and by the erosion mechanisms that "cut" the granite into large blocks.
On the other hand, the origin of this "seat" can only be attributed to human activity.
