Located in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park, the church is dedicated to Saint-Julien de Brioude. The 12th-century edifice was part of a castle-church-farm complex, originally Romanesque, then modified in the Gothic period.
Romanesque nave to which was added in the Gothic period a second nave and a porch. Bell tower added in the 17th century and raised in the 19th century. The choir was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century. We can see fragments of 15th and 17th century mural frescoes. We find the vault of the Morel de la Colombe family.
A small exhibition is present inside. From the church, magnificent panorama.
