Description
The site of a priory belonging to the Abbey of Saint Michel de Cluse in Piedmont, Saint Pierre church was rebuilt in the 12th and 13th centuries.
In later centuries, the outer walls were opened to accommodate rib-vaulted side chapels, forming a second aisle.
Highlights: Inside, several capitals from a local workshop. Numerous statues, including a 16th-century stone Virgin of Pity. In the belfry, the oldest bell in the diocese. Near the chevet, an 11th-century sarcophagus in local granite.
