The historical center of the firefighting world, managed by the E.F.M.A. (Européan Firefighters Muséum Association), an association of general interest, is happy to welcome you to admire the collections of the firefighting world from all eras.
Throughout your visit, you'll discover the world of firefighting and the commitment shared by men and women from all over the world in the service of others.
The exhibition features a range of equipment and vehicles from France, other European countries and around the world, many of which are rare or even unique.
The exhibition covers a wide range of themes associated with the fire department, from photos and archive documents to postcards and books. It also includes miniatures and toys, as well as outfits, helmets, equipment and machines, and more unusual objects depicting the image of firefighters.
In short, a must-see collection!
The Thiers firefighters' museum has set up an audio guide available on visitors' cell phones, explaining all the objects and vehicles on display, and which can also be used by the visually impaired.
