From 4 to 26 July 2026 Vollore Concerts Festival 48th festival

The Concerts de Vollore was the first festival to be held in the Puy-de-Dôme in 1978, and takes place every year in July. Renowned for the quality of its programming, over the years it has established itself as a major event for music lovers without frontiers. Of genre, class and country. Les Concerts de Vollore has also developed a series of events throughout the year, including “L’autre saison”.

Carrying the music in the heart of rural France

The association Les Concerts de Vollore has its own way of sculpting the cultural landscape of an entire region. It brings“artists of international renown and local talent ” to give concerts in emblematic venues in the Livradois-Forez region. Bringing music to the heart of rural areas is a constant challenge, one that has been taken up by all the local players. “The area is waiting for this artistic presence. Everyone’s on board,” says Bruno Chanel, president of Concerts de Vollore. With elected representatives in tune, tourist information offices relaying tickets and partner restaurants, the effort is a collective one. And the effort has its own rewards. In fact, the Concerts de Vollore festival takes place wherever it can, in towns that are always different.

“The Concerts de Vollore programmes offer a wide range of concerts for all ages.

Discovery and openness des Concerts de Vollore

Originally conceived as a classical music festival, Les Concerts de Vollore has broadened its horizons over the years. Jazz and world music now feature prominently in a programme based on a careful balance between creation and dissemination. As a result, the festival offers many new discoveries of forgotten or never-before-performed works.

Discovery is undoubtedly what the festival is all about. Discovery and decompartmentalisation. Because for many people attending a classical music concert still means crossing the threshold of a forbidden sanctuary, the festival has set out to make its concerts accessible to everyone. This openness is now reflected in the educational work carried out with the public, particularly the very young.

The programme

This 48th festival offers a rich and varied programme of top-quality music, with 15 concerts and 15 venues to explore the region.

More than 60 artists will be performing this summer, including international artists from all areas of music (jazz – world music – classical), as well as young talents waiting to be discovered!

2026 programme to come.
