While heading the summit, you can see basalt columns: lava cooling down took the shape of pipes of organs, just like hexagonal columns.

These columns are of volcanic origin: they are lava which, when cooled, took the form of organ pipes, like hexagonal columns. This angular rock was used to build the castle and then the village houses.
