Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park

Located in the east of the Auvergne region, the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park covers three départements: Puy-de-Dôme, Haute-Loire and Loire. With a current population of over 103,000, it comprises 163 communes and 4 associated communes, including Ambert, Billom and Lezoux, La Chaise-Dieu and Thiers. These are fairly compact and dynamic urban areas, with hiking trails just a few minutes away. They’re also just a few minutes from ski slopes and mountain lakes. What’s more, they all have magnificent historic centres that are well worth a visit.
