Description
Nestled on the slopes of Puy de Mûr and Puy de Pileyre, the farm has been practicing sustainable farming and conservation for many years, and offers direct sales of white asparagus, potatoes, garlic, shallots and onions.
On June 6 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, take a walk with a passionate guide to discover the agricultural and historical treasures of the Vertaizon area.
The walk takes you around the plots of land where garlic, shallots and potatoes are grown, and into the daily life of the farm.
Along the way, you'll follow a section of the famous GR89, "in the footsteps of Montaigne", for an immersion between nature and culture. You'll also discover a charming washhouse dating from 1833, a testament to the local rural heritage.
The walk continues along a now-abandoned railroad line once used to transport sugar beet, a reminder of the region's agricultural and industrial history.
After this convivial and enriching stroll, we'll take the cars back to the farm building to extend this moment of discovery.
